Help raise the profile of Scouts across Doncaster.
As a Volunteer PR Manager, you’ll help ensure more people hear about the positive impact Scouts has on young people, volunteers and local communities.
What you’ll be doing:
• Writing press releases and news stories
• Building relationships with local media
• Promoting Scout events and achievements
• Supporting recruitment campaigns
• Identifying opportunities for positive media coverage
• Working with the wider communications team
What we’re looking for:
• Strong writing and communication skills
• An interest in media, PR or journalism
• Confidence communicating with a range of people
• A passion for sharing positive stories
Time commitment:
Flexible and largely remote, with occasional support at events.
