The Sixers & Seconders Camp is designed to help Cubs build confidence, take on responsibility and develop the skills they need to support their Pack.
Event Overview
This development-focused weekend is aimed at Cubs who are currently Sixers or Seconders, or those preparing to take on these roles.
Through a mix of traditional Scouting, outdoor activities and team challenges, Cubs will begin to understand what it means to take responsibility, support others and lead within their Pack.
The weekend combines leadership learning with practical Scouting experiences, helping young people build confidence, develop teamwork skills and take their first steps into leadership in a fun and supportive environment.
What to Expect

- Teamwork and responsibility-based tasks
- Outdoor skills and traditional Scouting
- Campfire and evening activities
- Confidence building through practical experiences
Who Can Attend
- Cubs
- Sixers, Seconders or those preparing to take on these roles
- Maximum 36 young people
- Maximum 4 Cubs per Group

- Dates: 28 May to 30 May 2027
- Time: 6:00pm Friday to 4:00pm Sunday
- Cost: £40 per Cub
- Accommodation: To be confirmed

Important Information
- This is a development-focused camp aimed at building leadership skills
- The event will be fully run and delivered by the District Events Team
- Further event details will be shared ahead of the event
Booking & Payment
- Bookings open: 27 February 2027
- Bookings close: 28 April 2027
- Bookings must be made online by the Group
- Your Group will be invoiced for all places booked
- Payment should be made by bank transfer before the event
Leader Information
- Leaders are not required to attend
- The event will be delivered under a Nights Away Permit by the District Events Team
