District Freezer Camp

Can your Scouts handle the freeze?
Freezer Camp is back for 2027 — a full weekend of challenge, adventure and cold-weather Scouting at Squirrel Wood. One of the most talked-about events in the district calendar, this is not for the faint-hearted.
Event Overview
Freezer Camp is a high-energy winter camp designed to challenge Scouts through a mix of activities, teamwork and outdoor adventure — all set against the coldest conditions of the year.
Across the weekend, Scouts will take part in a wide range of activities, building skills, resilience and confidence while embracing the winter environment. Scouts camp outdoors all weekend while completing a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. The event combines comfort with challenge, making it accessible while still delivering a true winter Scouting experience. Fully catered throughout, Scouts can focus on the experience, the activities and the challenge of taking on the cold.
