This core team provide leadership and management across Doncaster Danum ensuring young people can access the very best opportunities in life and that they do so safely. The Senior Leadership Team are responsible for the day to day oversight of the District. We are a friendly bunch of people and welcome people approaching us for advice, support or to give valuable feedback so we can strive to do better.
David Plant
District Lead Volunteer
David has overall responsibility for the District. It is his role to ensure the district runs effectively and that Scouting develops in accordance with the rules and policies of The Scout Association so that young people can benefit from good quality scouting.
Andy McAteer
Support Team Lead
The Support Team Lead looks after our various support sub teams which include facilities & Assets, Administration, Communications & Media, Growth & New Provision and District Scout Shop
James Hagyard
Programme & Events Team Lead
James’ specific area of responsibility is programme support. He leads our Programme Team and various sub teams to ensure young people are getting the very best programme opportunities.
Chris Green
Volunteering Development Team Lead
Chris looks after the volunteer experience and journey. He works with the District’s Welcome, Learning and Awards & Recognition teams to ensure everyone feels valued and supported in their roles.
