Purpose of the Role
To lead the promotion of Doncaster Danum Scouts, strengthening visibility, reputation, and growth through consistent, high-quality communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the district’s social media channels
- Promote events, success stories, and opportunities across the district
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communications
- Work with Groups to capture and share local stories
- Support recruitment campaigns for young people and volunteers
- Build relationships with local press and media
- Support wider district campaigns and initiatives

- Strong and consistent social media presence
- Increased engagement across platforms
- Growth in membership and volunteer enquiries
- Positive and professional representation of the district
- Increased visibility of Scouting across Doncaster

- Weekly social media activity
