Guide our Governance: As a Youth Lead, you’ll be part of our Trustee Board – guiding the operational team on governance, risk management and finance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Age: Candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 25.
  • Passion for Youth Development: A strong commitment to supporting and advocating for young people.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership skills or the willingness to learn and develop, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with both youth and adult members of Doncaster Scouts.

Your Role:

  • Represent Youth: Act as a representative for young people within The Scouts, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
  • Innovate: Develop and implement programs and initiatives that resonate with young members.
  • Collaborate: Work with Scout leaders and other Youth Commissioners to create a cohesive and dynamic team.
  • Inspire: Encourage and mentor other young Scouts, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
