SUMMARY:Patrol Leader's Training Camp
DESCRIPTION:Maximum 3 scouts per group. \nAre you a Patrol Leader\, Assistant Patrol Leader or likely to take on the role soon? \nThe Danum Patrol Leaders’ Training Course is designed to help you grow in confidence\, develop leadership skills and better support your troop. Through practical activities\, games and teamwork\, you’ll learn what it really means to be a PL and how you can work effectively with your leaders. \nYou’ll also meet Scouts and leaders from across Doncaster\, share ideas from troop nights and camps and take inspiration back to your own troop. \n\nCourse Details\n\nVenue: Squirrel Wood\, Doncaster\nDates: Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March 2026\nTimes: 7.30pm Friday to 3.00pm Sunday\nAccommodation: Indoor lodge accommodation\nCost: £40 per Scout\n\nPlease note\, transport to and from Squirrel Wood is not provided. \n\nKit List\n\nFull Uniform (essential\, as required all weekend)\nStrong bag / Rucksack to carry everything\nOutdoor Boots or shoes\nTrainers for indoor use\nTrousers / Tracksuit or Jeans\nWaterproof coat\nT-shirts\nJumpers and/or sweatshirts\nUnderclothes\nGloves\, scarf and hat\nSleeping bag and blanket & Pillow\nSpare bin bags for dirty clothes\nWash kit and towel\nTea towel\nTorch\n\nAll food and camping equipment\, cutlery will be provided \nNO: Mobile phones\, electronic devices\, ipods hand held games consoles etc\, no knives\, These will be confiscated if seen on camp. \n\nTicket Purchasing\n\nYour group will be invoiced for all tickets booked\nPayment should be made by bank transfer before the event\nWe require all medical and dietary information to be entered\nPlease use the Young Persons Parent/Guardian Email Address in the email field\n\n\nLeader Ratios\n\nNo leaders are required to attend with their young people\, the event will be fully run by the district events team using their campsite permit.

SUMMARY:First Response Practical Assessment (Module 10b)
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to offer a First Response Practical Assessment session\, delivered by an approved Scouts First Response assessor. \nThis session provides the practical validation element of First Response and is suitable for volunteers who have already completed the required theory learning. It enables participants to demonstrate competence in key first aid skills in order to meet The Scouts First Response requirement. \nThe session is delivered face to face in a short drop in assessment format. Volunteers should arrive at least 30 mins prior to the end time with each participant allocated approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete their practical validation. There may be a short wait during busy periods. \n\nWho should attend\n\n\n\nAdult volunteers who have completed Module 10a theory and require practical validation\nVolunteers who have completed an approved external first aid course and need Scouts practical validation\nVolunteers renewing their First Response where theory has already been refreshed\n\n\n\nPlease note: this is a practical assessment only and is not a full First Response course. Theory learning must be completed before attending. \n\nWhat to bring\n\nConfirmation that Module 10a theory has been completed\nDetails of any relevant external first aid qualification if applicable
