What do scouts in Doncaster do?

Empower young people with SKILLS FOR LIFE!

Throughout the Danum district we have an excellent team of volunteers who strive to have a positive impact and inspire the next generation of young people. No matter your background or beliefs scouting is open to all encouraging people to be creative, develop a sense of adventure and outdoor skills, building confidence to help you in everyday tasks and most importantly having fun with friends whilst doing so.

Scouting is split into 5 key sections Beavers (6 - 8 years), Cubs (8 - 10½ years), Scouts (10½ - 14 years), Explorers (14 - 18 years) and Network (18- 25). Each section has a fun packed programme building on the previous sections through a vast range of activities, challenges and experiences. A youth led approach offered at every level allows  young people to make decisions and influence the skills they develop, ensuring they get the most out of the time they spend in scouting.
